This event was introduced in 2008 and was an overwhelming success. As the largest public presentation of Ontario Artisan cheeses in 50 years, tickets were sold out, with an intense interest from the public especially.
In addition to sampling Ontario Artisan cheese, this yearly event offers the opportunity to meet the cheesemakers who are rarely in the city and to learn more about their trade and practices. Because many of the cheeses being sampled are hard to find, cheesemakers will be bringing products to sell.
This is a rare tasting and purchasing celebration of Ontario Artisan cheese and the passionate people behind it.
