Nissim is the Ethnic Market Specialist at Dairy Farmers of Ontario, he achieved his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. While there he worked in the field of marketing, promoting fertilizers and chemicals used in the agriculture and seed production industries.
Nissim has a wealth of international experience with time spent managing agricultural projects in the Ivory Coast, Gabon and Zaire focusing on dairy farms, cattle ranches, Palmolive plantations, and grain and seed production. In the Ivory Coast he produced fresh pineapple, avocado and mango for fresh export to Europe.
Nissim now lives in Toronto with his wife Sandra, his three grown children live in Israel. While in Canada, he has designed underground irrigation systems, operated his own catering business in Toronto and completed his MBA thesis on “Demand for dairy products by the Middle Eastern community in the GTA”.
