Al is a process-oriented professional in the IT Industry - has over 17 years of Canadian and international professional experience developing technology infrastructure and innovative solutions in e-business, e-commerce and manufacturing environments.
His involvement with Small-to-Midsize Businesses (SMB) begun in the early ‘90’s in Europe, where he spearheaded solutions for SMBs and government agencies. Since 1998 he has dedicated himself to the world of e-business and e-commerce in N. America, first through executive positions in Canadian Organizations and since 2002 as the founder of COMMbits Inc.
A Systems Analyst by trade, Al is involved in most of custom project work at COMMbits. He has developed a unique methodology for faster website design with easier maintenance as well as a proprietary Search Engine Optimization formula for legitimately boosting a website’s ranking in popular Search Engines. In addition, he has developed unique and easy to implement methodologies for e-Commerce and implementation of on-line credit card payment systems with Canadian Banking integration.
Al holds a post-graduate degree in Management from the Mediterranean Institute of Management and a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration with a Major in Computer Information Systems from the American College of Greece. He speaks English and Greek.
