Born and raised in the Niagara Peninsula, Suzanne Janke is recognized as a leader in tourism development and marketing for the Ontario wine industry. After completing a Business Communications degree, Suzanne spent three years teaching English to business professionals in Japan and Korea.
Upon her return, she joined Château des Charmes Wines as Director of Marketing & Tourism. In 2005, Suzanne was recruited by Stratus Vineyards, one of the country’s most innovative and sustainable wineries. In her role as Director of Hospitality and Retail, she is responsible for marketing and managing the winery’s visitor centre and tourism program, retail sales and media and public relations.
An avid wine, food and travel enthusiast, Suzanne actively participates on numerous industry committees and boards. Currently on a maternity leave, Suzanne is enjoying the opportunity to introduce life’s adventures, delicious and otherwise, to her two young sons, Ellis and Félix.
