Cam McEachern taught college history for a decade in Fort McMurray, Alberta, during which he participated in industry partnerships and led classroom technology innovations, becoming interested in professional and natural environments, and change agency. He then administered new online programming in Alabama and Saskatchewan including agricultural extension.
Today he continues with change agency by developing an applied research programme at St. Lawrence College while completing a Ph.D. thesis in environmental history.
He is assisting eastern Ontario colleges to collaborate in applied research involving renewable energy, community services…and artisanal cheese, assisting recovery of a niche agricultural industry within a globalized market.
Cam lives in Kingston with his wife Diane, a speech pathologist, and three young children…who find his twenty-mile detour for a “Celtic Blue” a little eccentric.
