Julia Rogers is passionate about cheese and loves sharing her discoveries with others. Building on her experience as a personal chef, caterer and retailer of specialty foods, and inspired by visits to Italy and encounters with Slow Food educators, she established Cheese Culture in 2003. This education, event planning and consulting business is dedicated to enhancing the enjoyment and understanding of cheese, wine, beer and other iconic foods.
Julia collaborates with wine and food professionals across Canada, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, the Ontario Cheese Society, and la Societé des Fromages du Québec. She is an educator and Diploma-holder with the internationally recognized Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
